Homegrown veteran rockers Toto are once again hitting the road on their 'Dogz of Oz' tour, a retrospective concert of some of the bands greatest hits along with deeper cuts! Combining a myriad of musical styles since forming in 1977, the band are known for their enthusiastic forays into pop, rock, soul, funk, progressive rock and hard rock.
Coming to instant prominence with their debut self-named album in 1978, the EP spawned three successful singles that reached the top 50 on the Billboard chart, namely Hold the Line", I'll Supply the Love and Georgy Porgy. Now 16 albums and 40 million album sales later, the band have been honored with six Grammy Awards and an induction into the Musicians Hall Of Fame in 2009.
Recently releasing their 40 Trips Around The Sun, which is an expansive Best Of collection, TOTO spent most of last year re-mastering old tracks and working on new music. Don't miss them when they come to a city near you!

Fabulous Show!
We sat Right Orchestra Row M seats 50 & 51 (aisle closest to Orchestra section, fabulous
seats! This band brought their "A" game last night. Couldn't have been happier with the
mix of old and new and the nine piece band. Would absolutely pay to go again and

I have read in previous reviews from other concert halls that the reviewers(fans/concert goers) had complaints that Toto didn't just do a greatest hits concert and then say adios and leave the stage. Let me explain something to those whiners about how Toto sets up their playlist and format for their 40th anniversary tour. Toto knows that fans want to hear their biggest hits like Rosanna, Africa and Hold The Line. Toto rotates their hits at each venue they perform at so these songs don't become stale and robotic as they play them continually at each venue. They have a middle segment where they have fun with the audience and show how some of their songs in the beginning weren't so classic and at our sold out venue the crowd loved it. As for the remark made about not needing to hear Steve Lukather play "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" because he was a fan of George Harrison, that whiner needs to realize Steve was influenced by Mr. Harrison. TOTO at Charleston Music Hall
This was a bucket list concert for me and TOTO
did not disappoint . The set list was excellent
although they did play two covers and a
instrumental from the Soundtrack of the movie
Dune which TOTO scored.
Almost every album was represented by at
least one song which is unheard of.
The Charleston Music Hall is an intimate venue
with 1,000 seats. The only disappointing thing
for me was that original member and
keyboardist David Paich was not there due to
