Enjoyed the music and the crowd. John, Bob and Willie were terrific. I have seen them numerous times through the years. Well worth the ticket price. Very enjoyable.

I have been an avid concert goer since the mid-70s and I have seen the Avett brothers more than any other band and I just found out about them three years ago. They are an amazing group . I have seen them 8 times in 3 yrs . They are well respected and loved by all ages.! And their lyrics ! North Carolina roots 👏👏👏. And they and their families are still there. If you haven’t already watch Netflix.: May it Last

Outlaw Music Fest 2024 kicks off in Alpharetta

What a beautiful and friendly venue, there were ample facilities on both sides of the stage and beyond the lawn seats. Celisse opened the show at 5:30 with a half hour set, the girl can really belt it out while crushing the guitar leads! The highlight of the show, for me, was krauss/Plant who harmonized incredibly well and blended folk with rock seamlessly! They played folk staples along with four Zep favorites ! Absolutely amazing! Dylan was a disappointment to the crowd as he played more obscure songs from his vast catalog and stayed away from songs that made him famous. “A simple twist of fate” was his most recognizable song, his band’s acoustics were horrible! When the Nelson Family, fronted by Luke’s, took the stage many of Willie’s die hard fans left as he was not in attendance. They missed an incredible performance ! Lukus is a masterful guitarist who sounds incredibly like Willie! Tedeschi/Trucks entered the fray the second half of the performance the band kicked it up!

Went to the Outlaw Music Festival on 6/21/24 at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta GA. The music was excellant even though Willie nelson couldn't perform due to his health(wish him well). His son took the spot light and made his daddy proud. I had never been to this venue, so I bought tix through Stub Hub for the "lawn" seating. Stub Hub sold me a parking pass for almost $50. Upon arrival I found out the parking area (B Lot) that my purchased parking pass was for is a FREE parking area. Basically ripped off for $50. The amphitheatre is huge. The "lawn seating" was so far back you could not see the musicians. Just little dots. There were two large projection screens but were very small for this size venue and are mounted up by the stage instead of out where they would provide good visuals to the thousands well back from the stage. The camera operator must have gotten in to Willie's stash, he was horrible focusing on the actual performer soloing. Very annoying. I was shocked at the limited and mundane foods available. This concert started at 5:30 and was ascheduled to end around 10:45. Processed pretzels, hot dogs and cardboard pizza??? In this day and age I expected a dozen food trucks selling fresh unique cousine. After leaving the venue, I searched the entire area to get a bite to eat and a cocktail. Found only one place, a sports bar that closed at 11:00 PM on Friday night(s). The venue's staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I commend the organizers for putting together such an incredible line up, but I wouldn't go back to this amphitheatre for a music event.

Terrible concert

One of the worse concerts I have been to. And I been to 20 or so at Coastal. First Willie the headliner wasn't there, and I get he is sick but should bring in a big name to fill in. Second they decide to increase their profits by require you rent there lawn chairs instead of bring your own. If that's the case they should have put yhem out in lawn instead of making you wait in line. Lastly, as mentioned above the real reason you couldn't see anything on the screens was it wasn't just the xamera guy that was high the lighting guys was doobied out too. There was no stage lighting to speak of. Will be the ladt time for me to go to that venue unless someone else does it besides Live (barely) Nation.
